Villa at a Resort Description

Our resort is a beautiful place composed of houses, shops, pedestrian streets, plazas, parks, and recreational facilities. All elements are arranged to produce a series of wonderful, walkable public spaces interwoven with the natural environment. The architecture is adapted for outdoor living. Motorized vehicles are refreshingly absent. The comings and goings of residents and visitors enrich the scene. Every street leads to an overlook of the picturesque landscape. Each home frames incredible views.

One side of our resort is embraced by over 1,000 acres of tropical dry forest, with spectacular hills and valleys that afford extensive hiking and biking. On the other side is the Pacific Ocean, where two of the finest beaches in Costa Rica offer swimming, stand-up paddle-boarding, kayaking, boogie-boarding, and snorkeling.

The friendly, cheerful spirit of our family resort and surrounding natural world come to life in a vibrant blend of colors and design in this villa.

There are two entrances to the home: a main one that leads to the living space, and another that takes you into the cozy, ground floor guest studio, a self-contained getaway with its own master bedroom, kitchenette, and open concept living and dining room.

Directly above, on the central floor, colorful decor brings the indoor-outdoor living space to life, with an expansive, modern chef’s kitchen and a living and dining room that opens to the pool patio.

The home continues upwards, where two restful floors coated in gentle earth tones provide a respite from the adventures of the day. It culminates on the relaxing master bedroom floor which has its own king bed, spacious walk-in closet, and a private covered terrace to sit and experience the town as it moves quietly beneath you.

When not using the indoor kitchen to prepare a home-cooked meal with local, seasonal ingredients, retreat to the top of the home, and take in the 360 panoramic views, watching the sun set over the ocean while barbecuing on the rooftop terrace. A personal concierge can organize ready-to-grill proteins, sides, and even a private chef to orchestrate an unforgettable meal any night of the week.

This villa is located on the edge of Costa Rica’s Guanacaste province in a new beach town that was thoughtfully designed to feel as though it is a charming European town integrated with the surrounding natural landscape, complete with social plazas, beaches, and forest.

On one side of town, multi-purpose trails wind through 1,000 acres of spectacular dry forest. Two pristine beaches flank the other side, where many guests spend their days swimming, stand-up paddle boarding, kayaking, and snorkeling. There are no motor vehicles in town, only walkable streets lined with beautiful architecture that connect back to nature.
